Sabaly was quite solid against the Dutch and retains his place at right-back.

  • Abdou Diallo Senegal.

He suffered muscle cramps on Monday, but the defender is fit to face the hosts in a must win game for Senegal.

He will revert to his usual centre-back role alongside Kalidou Koulibaly.

Diatta will again lead Senegal’s attacks from the right wing, just as he did in their opening assignment.

  • Boulaye Dia Senegal 2022.

    Boulaye Dia

He was the lead attacker for the African side but was unable to find a way past the Dutch, who successfully managed to contain him until he was withdrawn in the 69th minute.

  • Ismailia Sarr Senegal 2022.

    Ismailia Sarr

Sarr’s relentless runs, dribbling, and shooting, troubled the Netherlands defenders.

He is expected to be lively again as Senegal look to be the first African side to pick up a win in Qatar.

  • FW_Famara Diedhiou

Cisse went for a more attacking approach, deploying Diedhiou just behind Dia.

His inclusion comes at the expense of Cheikhou Kouyate.
