Daniel Amartey: Is Leicester City defender of Premier League standard? - Fans clash

The Black Star returned to the starting eleven as the Foxes managed to collect a point against the Eagles at the King Power Stadium

Fans have clashed on whether Ghana and Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey is a proper Premier League player.

Despite helping Leicester City pick up a point against Crystal Palace, a number of fans were critical of his performance, whereas others praised him.

Amartey returned to the starting XI with Jonny Evans injured, and he was partnered at the heart of defence with Wout Faes.

As Amartey was involved, Leicester now have consecutive league clean sheets at the King Power Stadium for the first time this year. The previous occasion was back in December 2021, in victories over Newcastle (4-0) and Liverpool (1-0).
