Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari admits there may still be a surprise or two when he announces his World Cup squad on Wednesday.
The 2002 World Cup-winning coach is in Rio where later this morning he will confirm the names of the 23 players who will go in search of Brazil’s sixth world title.
And while it appears the majority of the squad has long since been decided, Felipao says there still may be a shock inclusion.
“There could be a surprise for someone,” he told the CBF website.
“But, those has been following our work know who as many as 21 or 22 of the players who will be called. I can say that a list will be made with the consistency that has marked all our previous call-ups.”
Julio Cesar, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Paulinho, Ramires, Oscar and Neymar have already had their roles in the squad confirmed by Scolari.
