Rogelio Funes Mori - River Plate
River Plate are once again the team that brought the most fans through Argentine turnstiles, despite an extremely disappointing 2010 Clausura and relegation doubts hanging over the Buenos Aires institution.

AFA (Argentine Football Association) figures indicate that 'Los Millonarios' comfortably outsold their bitter rivals and the next largest club, Boca Juniors, recording sales one third higher than those of their hated neighbours. River were also the only team to record an average of more than 10,000 ticket sales for every game, taking into account away matches.

At the other end of the table were Atletico Tucuman, Lanus and Arsenal de Sarandi, who could only muster a total of 34,983, 42,341 and 44,183 sales respectively across the whole season.

Poor attendances are a big issue for clubs not in the traditional 'big five' group, with many clubs struggling to attract over 5,000 supporters a game. Relatively high prices, poor facilities, regular outbreaks of violence and free football on television courtesy of the Government's 'football for everyone' deal are some of the reasons for the continuing decline in football audiences.
