Ten great Champions League comebacks
Juventus 2-0 Real Madrid (1995/96)
Once upon a time there were only 16 teams in the Champions League. In 1996, the tournament’s two big boys faced off in the quarter-final stage and things looked good for Madrid after they secured a 1-0 win in the Spanish capital thanks to a solo strike from Raul. The Old Lady were not to be denied, however, and Michele Padovano drilled a winner past Santiago Canizares after Alessandro Del Piero had given Juve the lead. The Italians went on to claim the title via a penalty shoot-out victory over Ajax.
