Where are they now: The Juventus side that crumbled last time against Bayern
3. Fabio Grosso
The unlikely hero of Italy's 2006 World Cup triumph arrived at Juve on transfer deadline of 2009 from Lyon, but he struggled to settle in at the club. In 2010-11 he found himself regularly missing out to Paolo De Ceglie for the left-back slot, and then the following season he made it onto the field only twice under Antonio Conte. Left without a club at the end of his three-year Juventus deal in 2012, that December the 35-year-old began a coaching course in order to gain his Uefa Pro Licence.
