DaMarcus Beasley – Should Bob Bradley select him for the South Africa squad, it will be Beasley's third World Cup. The winger emerged in 2002 as a precocious attacking talent for the U.S. national team and solidified his place by 2006, when he supplied the Americans' only assist in the tournament.

On the club level, Beasley has excelled as well. He set the record for youngest player to earn a full MLS contract (since broken) and became the first player under 21 to make MLS Best XI honors. A stint with PSV Eindhoven saw him become the first American to play in the UEFA Champions League semifinals.

Beasley suffered a series of injuries in the past few years, with a persistent knee ailment keeping him out of much of the season for Rangers. Back to health, the thin winger is looking to rejoin Bradley's good graces.

Did You Know? Beasley opened a line of high-end jewelery called the DaMarcus Collection this year.
