Robbie Rogers – As a youngster, Rogers moved to Heerenveen in Holland after only a year of college. In 2007 he returned Stateside without having made an appearance for the full team and signed with the Columbus Crew. There, Sigi Schmid nurtured his natural pace and direct play, grooming him into one of the most exciting wingers in MLS.

Rogers' incisive runs from the outside helped the Crew win the Supporters' Shield in 2008 and 2009, as well as the 2008 MLS Cup. His pace and trickery earned him a callup to the U.S. Olympic squad, where Rogers started all three games.

In 2009, Rogers emerged as an explosive option for Bob Bradley, but still has some ways to go before making the World Cup roster.

Did You Know? Rogers was a teammate of Michael Bradley at Heerenveen.
