Espanyol
Joan Capdevila is a compact left wing player who stands out for his ability to take the ball to the opposite penalty area. Physically privileged, the Catalan usually owns the left side of the field, yielding both in defence and attack.
He is also prolific in his goalscoring ability, and is a threat on corner kicks. Capdevila is a product of Espanyol's youth program and has played for Espanyol, Deportivo La Coruna - wining a Spanish Cup and two Super Cups-, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal.
He has been a Spanish international since October 16, 2002, when Inaki Saez served as coach.
