||||||||||||||||
Stefan Kiessling was born in January of 1984 in Lichtenfels. He is considered one of the best forwards in the Bundesliga, with a record of 13 goals in 23 games this season. He is a very flexible and dynamic striker, during the last two years dramatically improving his performances. The German coach, Joachim Löw, wasn't initially a fan of Kiessling but has now acknowledged his performances and taken im to South Africa.
His first match for the German national team was in March of 2007 against Denmark. Since then he has played twice more for Germany and aroused the interest of top European clubs such as Bayern Munich, Juventus and Arsenal. World Cup 2010 could be the next highlight in the career of this young rising star.
