bet365's Penalty Payback concession has now been triggered four times during the 2018 World Cup.
The latest set of refunds came as Croatia eliminated Russia on penalties, the second consecutive clash where Zlatko Dalic's side have come out on top via spot kicks.

Russia's elimination was the fourth time bet365 refunded punters this summer with Denmark, Colombia and Spain all being knocked out via this method earlier in the competition.
The offer has now accounted for well over £2 million's worth of pay-outs from the online bookmaker. That number could be set to rise significantly as the last few matches approach though, with several popular sides still in the running.

The Three Lions are 11/8 (2.38) to beat Croatia in normal time and 8/13 (1.62) to qualify for the final which would see them face either France or Belgium on July 15 in Moscow.
Les Blues are 31/20 (2.55) favourites to win the first semi-final in normal time with bet365 who are 21/10 (3.10) that Roberto Martinez’s men repeat their victory over Brazil. The draw is available at 9/4 (3.25) with the same firm.
The outright winner market sees France at 2/1 (3.0), England as 11/4 (3.75) shots together with Belgium (11/4) and Croatia complete the all-European affair at 4/1 (5.0) to go all the way.
