VIDEO: Tevez hits stunner against River Plate

The experienced striker scored two goals and added an assist to put River to the sword, but this brilliant curling effort was the pick of the bunch

He has scored some memorable goals in his time, but this effort at the Monumental will definitely be one of the sweetest for lifelong Boca Juniors fan Carlos Tevez.

The former Juventus star was in blistering form throughout Sunday's Superclasico against River Plate, starting with an early assist for Walter Bou to open the scoring.

Sebastian Driussi and Lucas Alario put the home team in front, but Tevez was in the right place to roll the ball home following a terrible mistake from young goalkeeper Augusto Batalla.

But there was absolutely nothing Batalla could do to keep out a savage curling effort that put Boca back in the ascendancy during the second half.

Whether he stays in Argentina or moves to China, there is no doubt that Tevez will keep delighting us for some time to come!
