The defender banged home from a corner to help spark a comeback for his side against Real Salt Lake.

Curt Onalfo has his first win as manager of the LA Galaxy, and he can give Dave Romney a big pat on the back for getting his club going.

Atlanta United looks like the real deal

The Galaxy were trailing Real Salt Lake in the second half of Saturday's match, but the defender pounded home a left-footed volley from a corner to pull the club level and spark a comeback.

That goal was followed up by Emmanuel Boateng five minutes later to give LA a 2-1 lead.

The 2-1 win was the first for the Galaxy this season after taking losses to FC Dallas and the Portland Timbers in their first two matches under Onalfo.
