Lanus man Maximiliano Velazquez had to be stretchered off after a nasty collision with a goal post in his side's 1-1 Copa Libertadores draw with Zulia.

The defender was racing back to try and deny a goal as he slammed into the woodwork, resulting in him needing to be taken off.

Zulia opened the scoring through Daniel Rivillo before Jose Sand levelled the tie for the visitors.
