The final minutes of Sunday's match saw the pair carry out some criminal actions on the victorious hosts, with Souquet lucky to walk away in one piece

Angel Di Maria and Thiago Motta both saw red for Paris Saint-Germain in a violent finale to their clash against Nice, as the Ligue 1 holders did their best to take out their frustrations on the victors.

The Italy international started off the madness on the Cote d'Azur when he appeared to headbutt Paul Baysse in his own area.

Motta was given a straight sending-off, and the penalty subsequently converted by Anastasios Donis put Nice home and dry, 3-1 up.

But there was still time for Di Maria to trump his team-mate in the violence stakes, scything down Armand Souquet with a horrific tackle that brought a thoroughly deserved red.

Will the soon-to-be suspended pair be back before the Ligue 1 season comes to an end?
