A solitary effort from Tiquinho just seven minutes into the contest proved to be the difference on the day at Estadio do Bessa, with the Brazilian forward continuing to impress on the back of a move from Vitoria Guimaraes during the winter transfer window.

It was, however, former Spain No.1 Casillas who ensured that victory was secured, with the 35-year-old goalkeeper displaying impressive reflexes to keep his side in front and only one point adrift of the league leaders.
