One of the favourites for the Europa League needs a big performance in Austria if they are to avoid the shock of the round.

Last week's 2-1 win for RB Salzburg at Signal Iduna Park means Borussia Dortmund must score twice on Thursday evening to have any hope of staying in the competition.

Despite home advantage and an aggregate lead, the hosts are the outsiders here - with bet365 offering Salzburg at 23/10 (3.30) to win in 90 minutes.

Team news

For Dortmund, Michy Batshuayi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos should both come back into the starting eleven after being on the bench in the weekend win over Frankfurt.

Shinji Kagawa and Andrey Yarmolenko remain out injured.

Salzburg have no injury concerns heading into the game.

Dortmund guarantee goals

In the Bundesliga this season, Dortmund's matches have seen more goals scored than any other, with an average of 3.31 goals netted per encounter.

Peter Stoger's side have shipped 33 goals in the league, the most of any top five team, and their defensive record in Europe is extremely poor.

Dortmund have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 matches across the Champions League and the Europa League, but notably they have scored in every one of those games.

Preview and predictions

Salzburg are unbeaten in their last 14 Europa League matches (including qualifiers) and they are more than capable of contributing to a highly competitive game.

Both teams to score is priced at 1/2 (1.50), but both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is available at the more tempting price of 4/5 (1.80).
