Reports in Italy suggested that the Poland international drew interest from Chelsea, and while there was no contact between those clubs, other clubs in the Premier League have expressed an interest in him during the transfer window.

However, Wszolek is happy to make his stay in west London permanent and thinks that he can fulfill his dreams of playing in the Premier League at QPR, who retain an outside chance of a play-off spot this season.

His agent, David Przemysław Pantak stated that: "He is positive with how things have gone with the new coach and he is committed to helping the team in their promotion charge."

He has made 16 appearances at Loftus Road this season with the R's sitting 17th in the table.
