James Milner has warned Liverpool's Premier League rivals it is just a matter of time before the club's attack start to convert their dominance into goals.
The Reds had 19 attempts on goal in their Premier League draw with Chelsea on Saturday, but needed an 89th minute Daniel Sturridge strike to claim a point.
An out-of-sorts Mohamed Salah spurned several presentable openings in the first half, including seeing one effort cleared off the line by Antonio Rudiger.
In the second half Kepa Arrizabalaga denied Sadio Mane before substitute Xherdan Shaqiri fired wide from close range.
Sturridge curled home brilliantly late on to preserve Liverpool's unbeaten league record but Milner is confident it will be a different story if the attack are afforded as many opportunities again.
“The amount of chances we are creating is pleasing and I think you would be more worried if you weren’t creating the chances," the 32-year-old told Liverpool's official website.
"I’m sure they will start going in a bit easier soon.
“Sometimes you have to find a way to get a point or a win in whatever way you can and it was a positive point.
"There are still areas we can improve on but they are a top team, they have shown that at the start of the season and they showed that the other night.
“We knew it would be tough but I think it’s a good point at the end, and hopefully we can use this momentum from late in the game, scoring like that, to take into the last two games before the international break.”
Jurgen Klopp's side will hope to regain their touch in front of goal when they face Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday, prior to welcoming champions Manchester City to Anfield next weekend.
