Manuel Lanzarote is all set for a move to the Indian Super League's (ISL) Kolkata franchise ATK for the upcoming season, Goal can confirm.
The attacking midfielder clocked well over 1500 minutes in the ISL season 4 where he scored 13 goals and provided six assists .
The 34-year-old chose not to extend his contract with FC Goa after a fallout with coach Sergio Lobera. "In Febraury, I tell (told) the club (that) I will not continue and declined the contract I had signed for one more year.
"The reason was a personal problem with the coach and I didn't want to work with him," Lanzarote revealed on his Instagram page.
"Next season, I will continue playing in (the) ISL and will come to Goa to visit my friends," he added.
