'Everything is still possible' - Draxler not giving up on PSG title chase

Julian Draxler is refusing to give up hope in the Ligue 1 title chase after Paris Saint-Germain suffered a damaging defeat last weekend.

Still, Draxler isn't ready to concede anything to the upstart Rouges et Blancs.

"There is still a chance for the title," the 23-year-old told PSG's official website. "Mathematically, everything is still possible.

PSG host last-place Bastia on Saturday in a game they will be heavily favoured to win. Draxler knows, however, that a club fighting for survival can be a dangerous prospect.

"I'm sure they will come here to fight for victory," Draxler said. "They want to stay in Ligue 1 and will do everything to get the points against us.

"It will definitely be a tough game, but we are playing at home, with our fans cheering us on. If we play as well as we can, we'll win."
