Automatic promotion contenders Cardiff City host Nottingham Forest in the Welsh capital on Saturday night.
The Bluebirds are 1/4 (1.25) with dabblebet to make the top two and will be confident of a 16th home league victory of the campaign against Forest, who are effectively safe after Saturday’s 2-1 win over Ipswich Town.
Cardiff are 1/2 (1.50) favourites to secure back-to-back wins for the 11th time this season and complete a double over their visitors, who they defeated 2-0 on Trentside in November.
The Tricky Trees are outsiders at 11/2 (6.50), but optimists would point out that January’s 2-0 win at Wolves is a sign they are capable of pulling off a shock win.
They would be content though with a draw, which can be found at 7/2 (3.50).
With striker Daryl Murphy carrying a calf injury, teenager Ben Brereton might again lead the Forest attack after netting last time out. Midfield stalwarts David Vaughan and Chris Cohen are long-term absentees.
Sol Bamba is a doubt for this game but Callum Paterson should be in contention here following a recent knock, whilst Joe Ralls (hamstring) and Jazz Richards (ankle) remain injured.
Bluebirds for a shut-out?
Nottingham Forest have scored 12 goals in 2018, the Championship’s joint-fewest, while Cardiff have the second-best defensive record with 12 conceded.
Three of Forest’s last four games have ended in defeat without them scoring, an eventuality that has occurred on five other occasions since Christmas.
On top of that, 33 percent of Cardiff’s games this season have ended in a win to nil, including a 2-0 triumph at Norwich last time out, making the home win to nil at 5/4 (2.25) tempting.
Preview and predictions
The best bet here, though, is the Cardiff and Under 2.5 goals at 12/5 (3.40).
That selection would have landed in three of their last six home games, while Forest have lost their last two road trips with two or fewer goals scored.
