Bob Bradley earns first win as Swansea coach in thriller

Bob Bradley became the first American coach to lead a Premier League side to a win after Swansea defeated Crystal Palace in a 5-4 thriller Saturday.

The former U.S. national team coach had overseen three defeats and two draws in his first five league games in charge before Saturday's home win.

After the Swans went down in the first half, two Leroy Fer goals within three minutes in the second half gave his side a 3-1 lead. Palace struck right back with a blitz of three goals in 10 minutes, and Christian Benteke appeared to give the visitors a win when he made it 4-3 in the 84th minute.

Instead, the match had two more late twists. Fernando Llorente scored two goals in injury time to give Bradley and the Swans an incredible 5-4 victory.

Bradley, 58, was hired by the Swans on Oct. 3, becoming the first American manager to take charge of a side in a top-five European league.
