Thailand's Buriram United shocked many when they surprised former champions Jeonbuk Hyundai 3-2 in the first leg of their AFC Champions League Round of 16 tie.
Leading the team to that important victory was their Brazilian striker Edgar Silva who dazzled on the night with two goals in a must-win match.
The Thai side had a dream start when Edgar Silva got on the end of Yoo Jun-su’s cross to head the ball back across goal and give them the lead in the sixth minute. Then he came up with a terrific goal to score Buriram's third as he weaved his way past the Jeonbuk defence with a mesmerising run and finished.
In an excellent individual performance, Edgar had four shots on goal, completed 35 passes apart from his brace.
He was simply sensational on the night for Buriram United and is aptly named this week's Toyota Asian Player of the Week!
