thumbnail Hello,

Flamengo attacker Diego Mauricio has attracted the interest of Porto.

Promising youngster Diego Mauricio could be on his way out of Brazilian side Flamengo as Portuguese table toppers Porto have shown an interest in luring the attacker to Europe, according to a report in A Bola.

The Dragoes are in the market for attacking reinforcements because of the ongoing uncertainty about the futures of Hulk and Radamel Falcao, and head coach Andre Villas Boas supposedly sees the 19-year-old Diego Mauricio as the perfect addition to his roster.

Diego Mauricio, who has been nicknamed 'Drogbinha' because of his resemblance to Chelsea star Didier Drogba, is a product of the Flamengo youth academy and has developed into a key player at Mengao since making his official debut in May 2010.

The report suggests that Porto are eager to snap up the young attacker in the January transfer window, but it remains to be seen whether they are willing to match Flamengo's €13 million asking price for Diego Mauricio.
