Kayserispor Keen On Benfica Striker Ariza Makukula - Report
The highly rated attacker could be on his way to Turkey again...
By Stefan Coerts
The 29-year-old attacker has been under contract with Benfica since the summer of 2008, but he has failed to secure regular first team action with the Lisbon powerhouse ever since.
Makukula was farmed out on loan to Bolton Wanderers in 2008-09 and spent last term on loan with Kayserispor. The attacker was one of the Kayseri side's top performers and the Turkish side are now ready to make another loan move for the Portugal international.
"There's a possibility that I will return to Turkey. We'll have to wait and see whether an agreement can be reached with Benfica to loan me to Kayserispor again," said Makukula to Antena1.
"It's very much unlikely that I will stay in Portugal. There was an offer from Maritimo, but Benfica turned it down."
