Porto - Portugal (Firo)
Portuguese powerhouse Porto have completed the transfer of highly rated young defender David Addy from Danish outfit Randers for a reported €800,000 fee on the last day of the winter transfer window.

The 19-year-old defender impressed during the Under-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009 and was since continually being linked with a move to a bigger club than Randers.

Addy has signed a contract until the summer of 2013 at his new club and could make his official debut for Porto in the upcoming Liga Sagres game against Naval on Sunday.

"I'm absolutely delighted with this transfer. This must be one of the best days in my life so far. Having joined Porto is like a dream come true and I'm very proud," said Addy on the official Porto website.
