FC Porto communicated to the the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) this morning that they have reached an agreement with striker Hulk regarding a new contract.

Hulk, who was sent off in Porto's opening league match with Nacional, is now tied to the club until 2014 and his old buy-out clause of €40 million has been replaced by a new one of €100 million.

Nevertheless, Porto continue to own just half of the 23-year-old, whom they signed from Tokyo Verdy last summer for €5.5 million.

With Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly keeping tabs on Hulk, Porto have now moved to ward off interest in the player, who is now the Dragons' biggest star following the departures of Lucho Gonzalez and Lisandro Lopez in the summer.
