Radamel Falcao has been linked with a move to Porto, following the Dragons' sale of Lisandro Lopez to Lyon for a fee of €24 million.
Recent reports had suggested that Zaragoza had tried to hijack Porto's deal for Falcao, and that the Colombian would favour a move to the Spanish league over a transfer to Portugal.
However, sources close to River Plate have told news agency EFE that Falcao's transfer to Porto "is complete" and that only some "minor details" still need to be addressed.
Reports in Portugal have suggested that Porto will spend €5.5 million on Falcao, who had reportedly agreed a summer exit with River Plate four months ago.
