The Sweden star returned to action in style as the champions thrashed Saint-Etienne on Sunday, while head coach Laurent Blanc reserved his praise for Javier Pastore
Having taken five points from their first three outings of the season, PSG won convincingly, thanks in the main to the Swedish striker's inspired performance.
"Thanks to my team-mates, we spent a lovely evening," said Ibrahimovic after the match.
2I am coming back from injury and I'm not 100 per cent yet but I tried to give it everything and I scored three times. We won 5-0, the team found good rhythm and confidence and that is fine."
For coach Lauren Blanc, while the result and performance was welcome, he is still expecting more from his team.
"This was not the perfect match," said Blanc afterwards, before adding: "But we are happy with the result and the way it came. During certain parts of the game we found the PSG I love, [but] you can always improve as the perfect match does not exist."
Blanc was also pleased the way his side dealt with potentially negative tactics from Saint-Etienne on the night.
"We knew Saint-Etienne wanted to block us in midfield. We therefore knew the flanks would be important and we used them well tonight," he said.
Despite Ibrahimovic being the star of the show, Javier Pastore was singled out by Blanc for special praise for the way he exploited the wide areas which devastated the visitors at Parc des Princes.
"He was good and he has done well in his preparations," said Blanc.
"He has the opportunity and the talent to string together performances of a very good standard. He has gained confidence and that is good for him, good for the team and good for the coach.
"If he continues on this road, he will be happy. This is a long season and we need a Javier Pastore like the one we have now."
