France boss Deschamps delighted by Norwegian rout

Olivier Giroud netted a fine double, while Paul Pogba and Loic Remy were also on target as Les Bleus romped to a resounding World Cup warm-up win at the Parc des Princes
Didier Deschamps has expressed his delight at France's performance in Tuesday night's 4-0 rout of Norway.

Paul Pogba opened the scoring 15 minutes into the friendly at the Parc des Princes and Olivier Giroud doubled the hosts' advantage with a sublime lob shortly after the break.

Loic Remy made it 3-0 shortly after his introduction as a substitute before Giroud headed home his second of the game just two minutes later to put the seal on a resounding World Cup warm-up win for Les Bleus.

"We were up against a team that has quality," France boss Deschamps told TF1. "Scoring four goals at international level is never easy.

"It's good for confidence and it allowed me to change things around a little bit, so it was very good."

France have been drawn in the same group as Switzerland, Ecuador and Honduras.
