Digne determined to take PSG chances

The young left-back is hoping to make an impression when handed his first-team debut for the French champions by coach Laurent Blanc

Paris Saint-Germain left-back Lucas Digne says he is keen to cement a place in Laurent Blanc's first team this season.

The France youth international sealed a €15 million move to the capital club from Lille this summer but has yet to make an official appearance for his new club.

However, the 19-year-old has revealed that he has spoken to the former Bleus boss about his role and is looking forward to getting a first-team chance.

"I've had a few chats with the coach, and he told me that I will have my chance," Digne told reporters.

"It's up to me to show my qualities when I'm given that chance."

Digne was a key member of the France squad that won the Under-20 World Cup earlier this year.
