Galatasaray defender Aurelien Chedjou is certain that he made the right decision to join the club from Lille this summer.
The Cameroon international sealed a move to Istanbul following six years with les Dogues and is optimistic about his future at the club.
"Frankly, I'm very happy," he told RMC Sport.
"I thank my agents every day for finding me this club. We don't speak about them a lot in France but I can assure you that they're a very big club.
"Having spoken to my team-mates, the league seems to be difficult. [Galatasaray] are already very attractive because there are big names here - that's not the way it is at Lille.
"We have very good players. If I chose this club, it's because they're a family, just like at Lille. And the level of the supporters is a notch above. I hope they'll like me."
Young winger Florian Thauvin is set to turn out for LOSC next season after a glittering end to the season on loan at Bastia and Chedjou is excited about his potential.
"I'm a bit far from everything but I have followed this story. Personally, I don't regret signing for Lille. If I can give him advice, he should get to know the club, the supporters and the coaches."
