The Italian was pleased with his side's second good performance of the week after Tuesday's victory over Porto in the Champions LeagueParis Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti believes Saturday's 4-0 victory over Evian shows his team are over their shock defeat away to Nice last weekend.
The win is les Parisiens' second of the week after they overcame Porto 2-1 on Tuesday to qualify for the knockout phase of the Champions League, and goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Motta and Kevin Gameiro were enough to beat Pascal Dupraz's side.
"It's nice confirmation [of form] after the victory against Porto," Ancelotti told the club's official website.
"The players have shown a good attitude, and the team has worked hard. We are content because after an intense period of matches we saw a strong team and players who played well.
"The key to the match was to show the same face we did in the Champions League. We made a good start to the game with lots of intensity, and after the first goal it was easy."
Victory moves PSG onto 29 points and into second place in the table, with league leaders Olympique Lyonnais playing on Sunday away to local rivals Saint-Etienne.
