Garcia: Lille's luck is coming back

The French coach was content with Les Dogues' performance on Friday night and felt it was a point won rather than two points dropped
Rudi Garcia has voiced his satisfaction at Lille's 1-1 away draw against Bordeaux and says luck is beginning to work in their favour.

The 48-year-old feels the 2011 champions have been unfortunate in the opening weeks of the 2012-13 campaign, but was pleased to see his side enjoy the rub of the green for once.

"The point makes up a bit for all the times we've played well and haven't been rewarded. The wheel is turning and our luck is coming back," Garcia was quoted as saying on the official Ligue 1 website.

"In terms of the table, it's a point won for us: getting a draw in Bordeaux is about as well as we've done in the last few seasons.

"On the other hand, I wasn't too impressed with the content of our play - we wasted possession a bit and got hit on the counter in the first-half as a result. We lacked fluidity and attacking determination."

Lille currently sit 10th in the Ligue 1 table with 11 points from nine games.
