Pastore: Marseille clash is massive

The Argentine midfielder says that this weekend’s Ligue 1 fixture is a huge game for both sides, with the pair in fine domestic form ahead of the encounter

Javier Pastore believes that this Sunday’s clash between Paris St Germain and Marseille is a key match for both clubs.

The 23-year-old says that Paris Saint-Germain must win the match but that he expects L’OM to provide a huge test.

“This is a game that will count," he told France Football.

"We must try to win to go in front (of Marseille in Ligue 1). But it will be difficult, as it was last year.

"Anyway, this year we are confident. Yes, we could lose, of course, like last season. I feel that we will be successful in a big match,” he concluded.

PSG sit in second place with 15 points from seven matches, while Marseille will be looking to continue their fine start to the domestic season, as they sit in first place on 18 points from the same number of games.
