Jonathan Tinhan nudged in a header from a free kick to secure a point, though Carlo Ancelotti's PSG can regain top spot with a win against Ajaccio on Sunday.
| Lille 2-2 Auxerre |
Eden Hazard put the hosts ahead with a fine free kick after the half hour, though les Dogues would soon be at a numerical disadvantage with Mauro Cetto shown a second yellow card just before half-time.
Willy Boly tripped Hazard in the area, and the Belgian star made it 2-0 from the penalty spot after 63 minutes. Auxerre were subsequently dealt a blow when Anthony Le Tallec was shown a straight red card.

| Sochaux 1-1 Valenciennes |
|

It wasn't until the 69th minute when the game witnessed its first goal, as Gregory Pujol fired an effort into the bottom net to put Daniel Sanchez's men ahead. Les Lionceaux however, did get the goal that they craved in a rather fortuitous fashion when Nicolas Isimat-Mirin converted into his own net from Sebastien Corchia's effort. Mehmed Bazdarevic's men are five points adrift of safety, and that tally could stretch to eight points if Ajaccio claim a shock win at the Parc des Princes against PSG on Sunday. |

|

Christophe Galtier's men created the opportunities, as Max Gradel, Laurent Batlles and Bakary Sako all attempted efforts, as Evian clung on to their lead. Les Verts remained on the hunt for an equaliser, but they were hit on the counterattack in stoppage time as Yannick Sagbo secured all three points for Pablo Correa's men. |
| Olympique de Marseille 0-1 Toulouse |

| Bordeaux 1-2 Nice |
| Bordeaux suffered a first home defeat since the opening day of the season as Nice claimed a 2-1 win which saw them move out of the relegation zone. The visitors were awarded a penalty after an infringement in the box by Michael Ciani after 18 minutes. Luciano Monzon, the left-back, converted the spot-kick with aplomb to give Rene Marsiglia's men a well earned lead. The advantage was increased when Abraham Gneki Guie netted past Cedric Carrasso as les Aiglons went into the break with a healthy cushion. Marc Planus reduced the deficit midway through the second half, though Francis Gillot's men were unable to get back on track as a six-match winning run at Stade Cheban Delmas came to an end. |
