The former Juventus skipper says his former coach's efforts to speak the language as soon as he arrived in the French capital show his quality as a manFormer Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro has admitted that he is a big fan of Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti, who coached him for two years at Parma.
The Parisian side have won all five matches under the former AC Milan trainer's tenure, and Cannavaro feels the 52-year-old's capture represents a big coup for the Ligue 1 leaders.
"This is a great achievement, a great arrival for PSG," Cannavaro told RMC.
"Carlo Ancelotti is a coach who is well-known internationally, and has a record that speaks for itself.
"He's also a great man, which he has shown by making the effort to try and speak French as soon as he arrived."
Paris Saint-Germain hold a three-point lead over Montpellier at the top of the Ligue 1 table after 22 rounds. They will continue their bid for a first league title since 1994 with a trip to Nice on Sunday afternoon.
