Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore is hoping that a thigh strain he picked up in the course of his side's 4-0 Coupe de France victory over Sable-sur-Sarthe will not keep him sidelined for too long.
The Argentine was withdrawn by Carlo Ancelotti less than half an hour into the cup clash, but Pastore is aiming for a speedy recovery.
"It's a little better, even if I felt pain today. I'm having a test on Friday to find out exactly how long I'm going to have to be treated. Today we're counting three weeks, but we'll know more on Friday," Pastore declared according to Maxifoot.
"For the moment, I'm staying calm, and I'm having physio therapy. I want to recover as soon as possible."
PSG return to Ligue 1 action with a trip to Brest over the weekend, with the Parisians currently sitting three points clear of Montpellier at the top of the table.
