The former Under-21 man gets his first inclusion in the senior squad and will look to make his debut for Les Bleus against the United States or Belgium

Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons has received his maiden international call-up and will be in the running for his first appearance with France.

The 22-year-old will join his new team-mates in preparation for the international friendlies against the United States of America and Belgium, with his inclusion confirmed on the France Football Federation's official website.

"Laurent Blanc has called for Olympique Lyonnais' Maxime Gonalons to expand the size of the France team, currently training at Clairefontaine, before the two international matches against the United States on Friday, then Belgium on Tuesday November 15," the statement reads.

Gonalons has appeared 13 times for the Stade Gerland outfit this season, scoring once and has featured both in Ligue 1 and in the Champions League.
