Lyon chief says Italians must make move to sign winger or he can remain at the Gerland
Aulas appears ready to hold talks with the Old Lady if they are serious about landing the 27-year-old, who on Saturday confirmed his desire to join the Turin giants.
Speaking to Tuttosport, the supremo said that there had been discussions previously, but made clear that the ball was firmly in Juve's court, or else the player will remain at Stade Gerland.
He said: "This is a story which has been ongoing for a while. The first was last year when Juve asked for Bastos. But then we were not ready to sell him. Now we have time to think about it. We want to respect the player's needs.
"An agent, Oscar Damiani, did speak to us, but there were no official talks. Now it's down to [general director Giuseppe] Marotta to call us.
"For what it's worth, Bastos could even stay."
