Lyon stopper Cris says he denies criticising coach Claude Puel, and demands the fans stop calling for his resignation.
The Brazilian stopper had allegedly stated that he wanted Puel to be sacked because of OL's poor start to the season.
"I have never said that the coach was no good," Cris told L'Equipe in an interview. "I am not here to say such things about my coach.
"He is in command, and would not permit myself to say anything of the contrary."
The 33-year-old has also made an appeal to the fans to "stop the banners demanding the resignation of Puel."
