Fomer France forward Christophe Dugarry has compared talented Lille youngster Eden Hazard to Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo and insisted that the 19-year-old has all the qualities to be a success in the Primera Liga.

Dugarry, who spent one season at Barcelona, also stated that he believed it is only a matter of time before the in demand Belgian makes the move across the Pyrenees.

"He [Hazard] reminds me a lot of Cristiano Ronaldo, the speed with the ball and his height. Hazard is like a thoroughbred and is destined for a great career," Dugarry is quoted as saying by AS.

"For me, Hazard is already among the best players in the French league. But I know that sooner or later he will leave for the Spanish League because it is a fact that the footballer will play in a major championship like that."

Hazard was named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year last year and has already been recommended to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez by French football legend Zinedine Zidane.
