The 19-year-old was signed from Saint-Etienne in the January transfer window but has remained with the Ligue 1 club on loan until the end of the season.
Zouma, a France Under-21 international, is set to compete for a place at Stamford Bridge next term and feels the former England captain has set high standard to follow.
"Terry? He’s an emblematic Chelsea player, a great defender, physical, technical, who score goals too," Zouma told Canal+.
"He is an example for me in my position.
"Hazard? He is is top class. A great player. Eto'o is a great name, who has had a very, very big career. These players will never be forgotten."
