Evra tells suitors: Speak to my agent & Manchester United if you want to sign me

The long-serving left-back, who signed from Monaco in 2006, stops short of denying his desire to leave Old Trafford but insists that he "loves this club so much"
Manchester United defender Patrice Evra says that anyone interested in signing him will have to talk to the club and his agent.

The 32-year-old told Telefoot that his contract situation was "personal" despite the Red Devils' hope to extend his stay and looks set to be among several old hands reaching the end of their Old Trafford spells, with Monaco keen on re-signing their former left-back.

David Moyes's public pursuit of Everton left-back Leighton Baines and Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao over the summer compounded the likeliness of the Frenchman leaving, though Evra insists that he "loves this club so much".

"I did an interview in France and I said it was personal," he told MUTV when asked about his contract situation.

"I haven't seen what people are saying but the thing is, if someone wants to talk about my contract, which is ending after this year, they have to talk to Manchester United and with my agent.

"Me? I love this club so much."

Moyes had earlier heaped praise on the France international and labelled him a "great figure" and presence at the club since the Scot's arrival in place of Sir Alex Ferguson in July.
