Manchester United have announced that they will end their pre-season tour with a game against AIK in Stockholm.
The Premier League champions will play at the Friends Arena for the first time on August 6 just days before the start of the new Premier League season.
Red Devils chief executive David Gill told the club's official website: "I’m delighted that the final game of our preparations for the 2013/14 season will be in the magnificent new home of Swedish football. This match is our first against AIK and will provide a tough test for the players as the new campaign approaches.
"As a club, we have visited Sweden many times and, of course, one of our Treble winners of 1999, Jesper Blomqvist, appeared 30 times for the Swedish national team, as well as playing – and scoring – against United for Gothenburg in the Champions League."
While AIK managing director Thomas Edselius said: "From AIK’s side, we are looking forward to this opportunity to play against one of the most successful clubs in the world. Our ambition is to consistently play in the European cups and we are therefore always interested in playing against top-level European clubs."
David Moyes' first match in charge of the Red Devils will come on July 13 when his side take on Singa All-Star ZI in Bangkok.
