Wayne Rooney has been omitted from Sir Alex Ferguson's final home game as Manchester United manager, with the retiring Paul Scholes handed a start.
The striker alledgedly handed in a second transfer request in three years recently, with Goal.com exclusively revealing that both Chelsea and Arsenal have joined the race to sign the England international in the summer.
Scholes revealed his intention to retire for a second time late on Sunday night, and will join Sir Alex in waving goodbye to the Old Traffor faithful in an emotional game against Swansea, as Shinji Kagawa, Danny Welbeck and Chicharito also come into the side.
Michu is a surprise inclusion in the Swansea starting line-up after initially being ruled out for the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury.
Gerhard Tremmel takes his place between the posts following Michel Vorm's withdrawal against Wigan, with Chico and Ben Davies also reinstated.
