Manchester City midfielder Scott Sinclair is currently in hospital with a blood clot in his shoulder.

The 24-year-old's condition is not life threatening while the club expect to now more about the midfielder's condition in the next 48 hours.

Manchester City posted on their official Twitter feed: "Get well soon Scott Sinclair from everyone at Manchester City FC #MCFC".

Sinclair did not feature in City's goalless draw away against his former club Swansea on Saturday, and has made just 16 appearances in all competitions for Roberto Mancini's men this season.

The winger is expected to be one of the faces heading for the Etihad Stadium exit door this summer, and this week Mancini revealed he would not stand in the way of his player moving on.
