The Red Devils man has recovered from several spells on the sidelines to secure a Premier League medal and is intent on nailing down a starting spot at Old Trafford next termManchester United defender Phil Jones admits that the injury setbacks which he has suffered this season have been frustrating but insists that they have also been a learning experience.

However, after coming back strongly during the latter part of United's Premier League title success, Jones says that he is proud of what he has achieved, especially after Sir Alex Ferguson declared that he could become one of the club's greatest ever players in the future.
"It has been frustrating," Jones told the club's official website, "certainly at the start of the season.
"It was tough as I had a back injury and then, in the first or second training session back, I injured my knee again. It was kind of one thing after the next and I felt like: 'Is this sort of thing going to end?'
"Thankfully, I got over that and played in quite a few games and cup games as well. The cup ties really gave me a chance to have more game-time and I think I've done reasonably well towards the back end of the season."
