Tottenham Under-21 coach Chris Ramsey has hailed Younes Kaboul following the defender's successful return from injury for the club's reserve side on Monday.
The Frenchman has been out of first-team action since aggravating a knee injury during Spurs' defeat to Newcastle on the opening day of the season.
However, after the 27-year-old played 60 minutes of a 1-1 draw against West Ham's second string at Upton Park, Ramsey acclaimed his professionalism.
He told Sky Sports: "He did well, had no problems really. He wanted to play an extra 15 minutes as well, showed a fantastic attitude and wanted to push his fitness a little more.
"Tom Carroll showed a great attitude as well, as he always does. All the senior professionals have set an example when they've come into the squad.
"Overall, when you look at the fact that a player like Younes returns to action after eight months out and the experience the younger lads gain playing alongside him, it's another great exercise for us."
